Tips To Write An Effective PTE Essay


    Essay writing is an important part of the writing module in PTE. Besides preparing a summary you have to write an essay in order to complete the writing module. You at least have to write one essay and at the max you are expected to prepare 3 essays. The number of essay writing questions totally depends on the set if test that you get in an exam. Ideally, the rational approach says that you must prepare yourself for writing at least two essays at a go. Within a time span of 20 minutes you are the test expects you to prepare the essay and submit the same. There are several things that you need to keep in mind while you write an essay in PTE.     1. Keep in mind the format


    First and foremost, you need to keep in mind the essay format. The format says that you need write an essay that has at least 200 words and not more than 300 words. Another important aspect of the format is that it expects you to write an essay in the form of paragraphs and not the passage. You may divide your essay into 3 or 4 different paragraphs.

    1. Paragraph formation


    Ideally you should divide your essay into 4 paragraphs. However, the number of paragraphs may vary with the question that you have got.     1. Relevant content


    Though the content relevancy does not play that important a role in PTE yet there is a certain portion of scores that is given based on it. You need to be very precise with the relevancy of the content that you provide. Based on this content you can prepare the body paragraphs quite effectively. As there are certain topics that are time and again repeated in the exam ( you can refer to these topics here), you can therefore prepare for the same in advance. Doing so will not only save your time but at the same time help you score better.

    1. Proof reading


    Due to the fact that in PTE you have to type and not write an essay, therefore, the chances of making errors increase. You need to therefore save time so that you can go through your essay and correct the errors so that you do not loose marks uselessly because of spelling and grammatical errors.
